This month’s ( December 2007) Featured Cocktail, the “Stump Puller,” comes to us from Sheila Metcalf RN, a member of the brilliant and dedicated nursing staff of Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, Vermont. Yup, that’s right, a tropical drink born in the frozen tundra of Northern New England. The “Stump Puller” is a lovely combination of gin, lemon, and maple syrup that’s guaranteed to hit the spot after a long day at work. (Okay, so this recipe isn’t all that tropical, but I made one for myself the other day and boy is it tasty.) Try one some day at Pau Hana time and then let us know what you think.....
